Client Accountant

Location: Hyde Park

Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (Hybrid working once settling in period has been passed)

Chestertons are looking for a highly motivated Lettings Client Accountant to join our busy residential lettings support team based in our Hyde Park office.

Do you have a strong track record of dealing with customers in a fast paced environment? Do you have enjoy creating excellent relationships with clients and colleagues? Do you have a strong commitment to delivering a high-quality service?

You will report to our Head of Client Accounts & Client Accounts Manager

Responsibilities include:

• Daily raising of rent and fee demands
• Daily allocation of tenant receipts to outstanding demands
• Processing new tenancies on the system
• Processing deposit releases
• Chasing Tenant rent arrears
• Handling a portfolio and being a designated point of contact
• Liaising with our Landlords and Tenants on a daily basis whilst maintaining strong client relationships and building trust
• Providing support to other departments and front office lettings branches on a daily basis
• Understanding of overseas landlord tax
• Investigating queries then taking relevant action
• Ensuring all tasks are performed in a timely and accurate manner in line with the department standards

Skills required:

• Reapit software (RPS) experience preferable
• Experience working in the industry/ client accounting preferable
• Excellent attention to detail
• Team Player
